THIS MONTH IN DOPEX - MAY

This May hasn’t been the easiest of months as we saw a market-wide capitulation in both Cryptocurrencies and Stock market. However, here at Dopex, this did not deter us from building, developing and implementing our innovative products for everyone to enjoy.

Without further ado, here are the latest developments and updates in Dopex

1. New products, integrations and protocol upgrades

For this month, we released two new vaults: BTC SSOV3 and Interest Rate Vaults.

You can now take directional positions on BTC by writing or purchasing puts from our weekly BTC vault.

Interest Rate Vaults

The long wait is now over, the interest rate vault is now live on beta.You can now bet or hedge against the MIM3CRV pool interest rate by writing or purchasing options from the vault

Strike prices for this month: 4%, 5%, 6% and 7%

Note that there is a minimum of $1000 notional size per purchase

2. Diamond Pepe

Congratulations to the winners of the Diamond Pepe Challenge: donuts_itm and DeFi_Donuts. They will both be receiving Gen 2 Pepes from Tztok himself!

3. Community Analyst Token Series

This month we also released the community analyst series which are independent opinion and educational articles written by contributors. The articles include a short introduction on SSOV tokens and the possible strategies that users can employ to secure yield through the Dopex options platform.

4. Dopex Essentials Dopex

We’re back with more explainers articles to guide you through everything you need to know to begin trading on Dopex.

Lastly, but certainly not the least, is some ALPHA

veDPX will be going live in a few weeks!

In anticipation for the release of veDPX, the following changes in our liquidity mining program will occur on Tuesday, 14th June at 8pm UTC.

1. DPX single Side Farm will be permanently closed

[A snapshot will be taken at the time of close and all deposits and unclaimed rewards will be manually dispersed to users]

2. DPX-WETH and RDPX-WETH will be closed temporarily

[Deposits and reward claiming will be available but no more rewards will be accrued for users. Shortly after this new farms for both these LPs will open with revised rewards and duration]
